On River Swimming

I’ve got a new essay up on Tin House‘s The Open Bar blog, about one of my favorite poems by one of my favorite poets: Edward Hirsch’s “The Swimmers.” It’s about skinny-dipping and sun-warmed, fast-moving water — things that are extremely pleasant to talk about on a cold January day.

A Dancer’s Life: Rosalie O’Connor

As a ballet enthusiast, it’s been wonderful to meet several current and former American Ballet Theatre dancers over the past year as part of my work with Fashiontographer.
